The Compassionate Conservative. An independent-minded individualist, Michael Savage fits no stereotype. He attacks big government and liberal media bias, but champions the environment and animal rights and always speaks his mind.
Mike Savage earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and has written 18 books. Unusual for an in-your-face, political talk show host. But then again, Savage doesn't stereotype easily. He can be found arguing on the importance of protecting the environment, railing against radical feminism, or making his case for passionate conservatives.
While many top-talkers were weaned in radio, Savage took the road less traveled, covering same very unusual territory. In his background you'll find a long list of occupations, all of which add to his ultimate appeal: factory worker, lifeguard, teacher, New York social worker, scientist and the list goes on.
