Miss
Joey English brings her considerable talents to the
desert after years of performing in nightclubs, theaters,
and on television across the United States, Canada,
Mexico, the Orient, and the rest of the world. Highlights
of her career have included 27 years of singing for
such stars as George Burns, Bob Hope, Milton Berle,
and Rodney Dangerfield. her impressive songbook includes
a collection written for her by Sammy Cahn, who called
her a "singer's singer."
Joey has appeared numerous times on such classic programs
as "The Dinah Shore Show," "The Merv
Griffin Show," and "The Mike Douglas Show."
Miss English has had a summer replacement television
show for the Smothers Brothers. She has sung the National
Anthem at most major sporting events. Joey continues
to entertain audiences with her vocal talents headlining
at Spotlight 29 Casino with the Ted Herman Orchestra
twice this year. Joey is a published writer, a sought-after
speaker and the MC of many of the Palm Springs Walk
of Stars dedications.
Currently, Joey is the most listened to female talk
show host of the Coachella valley with her daily feature
radio program on KPSI - Newstalk 920. A wife, mother
of three, and a grandmother, Joey lives the majority
of the year in Palm Springs and summers on Flathead
Lake in Montana.
